Weird story for you guys. A man in my town with some history of a head injury and is slightly handicapped goes for a walk Sunday and doesn't come back. Family is worried and a search team is out looking for him. I live next to a concrete plant and the owners review their security footage since it's close to where the guy lives. They spot him on camera walking east past it, so the search team heads into the woods. While looking they find one of my trail cams, so the search team naturally wants to see if the guy is on the cam. I head home to assist however I can but they find the guy 30 minutes later alive and dehydrated. Thank God they found him. Two days in this heat! They told my neighbor (owns the concrete plant) he likely saved that man's life, because the dogs never keyed on his scent that direction and they weren't going to look back there. No idea if he was on my camera, because the cops have the card. They just took the sd card. Lol. Supposed to have gotten it back tonight but I didn't. I really don't care in the grand scheme but dang I'd like it back. Happy the guy is ok and back with family. I can't imagine getting into a situation like that.

^ Wow that is crazy! Glad he’s okay. You might give him a week and then go ask him what the deer are doing out there...I bet he has some good intel! Jk!

So a crazy set of circumstances may have just enabled me to get my first totally new high end bow within a week or so. I'm sort of fond of Mathews so....

It will be the first I shoot. I like what I hear and am disciplined enough for a short bow i think. I shoot a drenalin and if memory serves is 31 ata? Anyway, I'm not discounting the halon or a couple of hoyts, but it would be a safe bet on Triax.

It's been so dry here and it was taking a toll on my plot. My buddy and I hosed it down last night with about 600 gallons of water in about 20 minutes. Hardly a soaking but better than nothing. I'll be on stand tonight. Find me in the live from the stand thread. Lol 20180920_194642.jpeg

The clover was fine, brassica were ok, but the rye was wilted up pretty bad.

He’s the same buck from about a month ago that had the super tall rack. He’s made 3 appearances now in the last 4 or 5 nights so keeping my fingers crossed!
