Weather is perfect here...one week before opener. Smh. Definitely our first fall teaser. Stayed up late having some beers around a fire pit and smoking a pork butt for lunch today. Not much going here. I’m strongly considering selling my climber and getting a tree saddle. I’m enjoying more and more getting into spots that are off the beaten path. But in hilly Ohio country what deters me sometimes is packing my climber back in. Most the guys I talk to that have a tree saddle love them. I don’t have any good trail cam footage but a buddy of mine in Shedding Light has this buck on camera 3 nights in a row. He films him from the road and the buck doesn’t seem to care. We had about 7 inches of rain this past weekend. Needless to say I didn't get out and finish up checking the last few stand straps. At this point those stands will get checked as I find the time during season.

I just go to the normal website with Safari on my iPhone and it works better than the app or Tapatalk. Only use Tapatalk if I want to post pics.

AHHHHHHHHHHHH THIS SUCKS!!!! I'm stuck at work and been patterning the nice 4x4 I've been seeing. He's shown up in the same spot the last 2 Wednesday evenings in a row between 5pm and 6pm. Since July 3rd I've gotten pics of him on 6 different days. It's been on a Tuesday or Wednesday literally every other week in the early evening. It's always been on either Tuesday or Wednesday except he threw me off and swung by this past Sunday but the same time..... 6pm. It was 75 and overcast here today and I HAVE TO WORK FREAKING MANDATORY OVERTIME on the graveyard shift tonight! It's killing me because I'm almost certain he'll come by tonight. I've got the blind set up perfect for him too and it's killing me. I've gotta be out there tomorrow since the low temps will still be here for a couple days. Maybe there's a chance he'll vary his schedule again. And if the temps are nice next week, I'm taking Wednesday off FOR SURE!!!!! Thanks for reading my rant guys! Hope so! I'm crossing my fingers I can get there tomorrow night and just worked out to get off work next Wednesday early so I can get out there since he's shown up on Wednesday 3 out of the last 4 times. If I have to wait a whole week it's gonna be gut wrenching!
