I fwacked this sucker last year. And have a couple prospects this year...lots of bucks on the alfalfa at night. I dont like checking cameras too often so im gonna try and check some cameras this weekend that i havent check since i put them up in july, but i have a couple others that are easier to access than have some great lookers on. I will try to get some pic on here after i check later this weekend. Oh and sorry for not commenting and stuff for some reason i dont ever get notifications anymore so i apologize. Don't you just hate it when the pucker factor kicks in and changes your mind for you all on it's own!
Damn nice buck there ! Click on the watched thread link at the top of the thread. That should get your alerts back!
yea i had tons of pictures of him and i finally sealed the deal mid November...after he broke his 10inch g2 smh lol. I seen him multiple times on stand just never got a shot so i was pumped to get him. America...Love it or Leave it
Love it when a plan comes together. I'm guessing he was a mid 40 's buck from the looks of it. even with the with the missing g2.
yep nothing humungous but he was mature enough for me. And got me riled up so i took him. America...Love it or Leave it
Wonder when the alternates are getting assigned teams? Pretty sure it was supposed to be next couple of days. Sent from my SM-G960U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
And as if on cue... We have an alternate @SheddingLightTravis will be our newest member. Everybody take a moment to welcome him to the team. After I message him and he shows up.
This puts us at 11 so we are still handicapped men. Champs and some others have 12. I'm not one to complain and this all for fun and bragging rights, but to be clear that is a potential 200+ point disadvantage. Just letting you all know. Sent from my SM-G960U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Let's all just go out there and have fun, shoot a 200" deer and win this thing out right Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
Hey guys, I’ll give a little introduction later. Happy to be a part of the team! Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Hey guys. Just wondering if we have any veterans/active/guard/reserve? I'm an old air force guy myself. Just wanna know who to dog about their respective branch. And maybe share a joke or 2 with. Police, fireman, first responders? Didn't wanna leave y'all out either. Sent from my SM-G960U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
I was happy to see I got placed on a team. I told my wife as I was checking my phone after going shopping. She asked what’s the team name...I told her...she didn’t seem impressed? Haha. Anyways, I read all 10 pages of you guys chatting so here goes the catch up: I’m from southeast Ohio, season comes in September 29th, I’m a part of a little hunting group called Shedding Light Outdoors. We enjoy filming our hunts and use this as a way to point folks to the God that made it all for us to enjoy. I shoot an Elite Impulse that a guy gave to me for free this past summer. I’m excited for the season to come to try it out. Also excited for my first Colorado archery elk hunt next year. It’s a year away and I’m already pumped. Was out there with a rifle in my hand in 2016 but didn’t do very well. If you care to check it out, here’s the video of the buck I killed last year. It was my first buck killed with a compound bow. I was jacked. Looking forward to getting to know you guys. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I thought I recognized the handle from a while back. Welcome! Yeah our team name isn't particularly mature, but it's all in good fun. I'll check out the video (possibly again?). It's gonna be a wild ride. Sent from my SM-G960U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Yea I’m active on here during bow season and turkey season. Kinda go quiet during the summer. I was on You Had Me At Meah last year. Totally forgot to sign up this year. Glad I made it on a team. It’s a lot of fun shooting the breeze and hearing the stories. Hung my stand today. It’s in a pretty good spot. Haven’t had many good trail cam pics but I’ve also not done much with them this year. This is the best I have on camera right now: Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Looking good. That bobcat looks huge and the buck is wide. Smoke em both. I'm on here more than I like to admit, especially this time of year. Bit of a hunting/learning about hunting junkie. Sent from my SM-G960U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
