Gents, well i got a bit of hunting done this weekend, but with nothing laying on the ground. had a ton of action but nothing came within range that was big enough to shoot.(doe or buck) till next time. Sean
Anyone been noticing any buck sign in their parts of the woods? I'm really expecting our WI property to be in high gear as far as scrapes and rubs are concerned. Love this time of year! Good luck this weekend Team 15, I'll be in WI with bucks on the mind!!
Well you can't kill anything if you are not out there...Hopefully next time something will come in range man!!
I have noticed some rubs and a few scrapes popping up. We have had a cool streak move through so I think that is why they are starting to heat up... I have not had chance to scout that much so I haven't seen that much sign wise. I will be hunting some as well. I am planning on going this evening so maybe something will turn up...Good luck in Wisconsin!!

DL I have several bucks on one parcel Im hunting. Havent found any scrapes yet but numerous rubs...game time should be coming shortly!
junior nice job found a small scrape on the way to my stand this afternoon had 5 does all around me but no bucks but it was nice to see the deer
Nice job Junior! Been seeing deer on pretty much every sit, just nothing big yet. Have a feeling its because there is just no other cover for them with all the crops and such out.... Once the big boys start getting up from their beds earlier could be interesting....
One word to describe this weekend, "WET"! As most of you experienced this weekend we had storm after storm and because of that not much moved. It wasen't all bad tho, did have someone in our hunting party see a nice buck. Til next time!

hunting DL...We have had some beautiful weather the last couple weeks with the exception of a couple days...We have had 2 pretty cool days which was awesome but for the most part it is still to warm. Anyway I have not hunted since Saturday. All I saw that morning was a little 6 point I believe dogging a doe for 15 min...That was really cool to see this early. It was the coldest morning in the last two weeks though. I will not be able to hunt until this weekend. I am traveling to the midwestern part of the state and I am super excited to share camp with going great friends I met off NC Sportsman.com....The weather is going to be in the 40's in the morning and low 70's for the highs... with no rain so we will see. There are several shooters on the farm and plenty of does so something will die this weekend....
NC, Good Luck Brother. Sounds like a blast. My first extended hunting trip is coming up in a week. I love Halloween weekend it never fails to provide some great buck encounters!
Thanks man!! I am definitely looking forward to it.....I just love hanging out with friends at camp...I only get to do it once or twice a year so we have a blast no matter what. I am with you on Halloween....It was rocking here last year the weekend before Halloween and the days after. We had a nasty cold and rainy front move through and the deer were running everywhere. Of course I couldn't hunt but one of those evening and had a great hunt even though I didn't tag anything....It's gonna be fun!!
