Hey yall, checking in. Sorry for the delay been dealing with the whole Hurricane Ida aftermath... she was a real *****! anyway, I'm ready to sling some arrows and win this thing.
Live in South Louisiana but don't hunt down here all that much. I make a trip up to IL every season for a week long public land trip and have had some pretty good success in the past (154" last year). I also lease some land out in western Oklahoma near the Texas line with tons of deer running arounds. Most bucks there are in the upper 120-130 range. I am guaranteed for some does at least lol. That being said, every member shooting a doe is critical to us being competitive in this (550 easy points). My dad and I are going to be hitting the road for Wyoming in early October for a Mule Deer and Antelope (gun) hunt. Few pics from years past:

We can go with chasing tail. Name doesn’t matter but the inches do! Hoyt Pro Defiant Easton FMJ Ramcat fixed blade
Finally picked up my V3 31 that I ordered in December last year, I’ll probably still hunt with my switchback I have had for 15 years that is dialed in on a dime. I hope to get some time to play with the V3.
@peakrut already had it changed to Chasing Tail but if everyone wants me to get it changed I will. lol @Hotrod9 I had the V3 27 and liked it but i think the hoyt rx5 has a smoother draw cycle.
It's cute you guys are still deciding name and introductions...while some teams already putting deer down LOL Best of luck fellas.
lol i think most of our team their season starts October 1st. But don't worry we will dethroning the champs! haha Good luck to you too!
@tynimiller did you see my opening spot pics? I'll be putting something down in a couple weeks. Gotta be legal tho... October 1st can't get here fast enough
The last couple of years, the teams I was on used GroupMe to chat a little easier throughout the season. Any interest with yall? You download the app to your phone and it's just like a group chat. You can manage notifications / mute it so your phone isn't blowing up all the time. Let me know if there is any interest, I can set it up
Well I killed my first doe of the year.....but not with my bow. Hit a doe this morning in my car. It's always something!
