I was going to go this morning but it's a downpour right now. Have to go to work for couple hours in a bit for some year-end inventory crap. I'll be out sometime between now and Sunday. Went out this past Sunday and saw absolutely nothing

So much damned rain today it was coming in my laundry room!!

 

This was my back yard at 11 this morning. Couldnt even see that strip of grass by 3 o'clock

 

Only thing seen was a damn yote! To far out to stick him with a arrow. Nice snow hunt but man I tell you I got soaked and got pretty damn cold. I stuck it out until dark. Going to hit it again this afternoon.

 

Keep pushin guys!!! And we can win this thing!

One doe puts us in the lead by 15 points. I think if we can get 2 does and one more buck we would for sure win but you never know! Good Luck guys! I'm heading out this evening to try to fill my last doe tag.

 

Got a big doe tonight! Didn’t take any pics but already have a doe entered. Filled my last tag and got more meat for the freezer! Been a long but good season for me. Its officially over for me and hope the guys that are still out there hunting the best of luck and shoot a biggin!

Are you allowed one bonus deer to be entered ?


Each participant is also allowed to enter ONE “Bonus Deer” as well. Antlerless deer, regardless of size, will count as 50 points. A second buck can be entered in place of a doe as your “Bonus Deer” counting for the 50 points. *Remember, your first antlered deer must be used as your “Buck Score”, your second antlered deer will be worth only 50 points, even if it’s bigger than your first.

 

I shot a doe in the early season and entered it and shot a buck a week ago and entered it. Can’t enter anymore. Correct @LittleChief ?

It's all good. No need to be sorry. Contest is just for fun. Get to meet new people and learn and get advice from other hunters. This team probably is best team I have had so far in the 3 years i have been in this contest. If we don't end up winning which I still have faith we will but it was nice meeting all you guys and experiencing and sharing each others seasons together!
