Might try to get out tomorrow evening if not I'll probably wait until this weekend. Its suppose to be in the 50s and maybe low 60s this week but the weekend temp is suppose to be back down into the 40s and 30s. Might take a doe this weekend. Need meat in the freezer!
I'm hoping to get out Wednesday after work. Thursday starts 4 days of shotgun season again in Illinois. If that little guy comes by me again I'm gonna put an arrow in him. 50 points is better than zero, and it's still meat in the freezer
@rknierim I keep passing 100 in 8 points, I don't know if I can pass up another one how my season is going lol. I'll be out this evening after work. Not expecting much with it being in the 50s but can't kill them from the couch!

Yes I believe they will still move but i think movement slows down in my opinion/experience. I think if there is a hot doe in the area they definitely will move but haven't seen much rut activity here lately. Like the other night saw 14 does or so and no bucks. Was kinda shocked that not one of those does weren't in heat. lol but I'm going to keep at it. Hopefully with a little bit of luck and prayer, a shooter will present me a shot tonight!

Went out after work tonight. Was late when I got there, only had 45 minutes left. Didn't see a damn thing! Was hunting a clover field with cut corn field 30 yards thru the brush. Not even anything in that field when I left. Craziness!!!
