what a monster @boonerville! glad you made it happen. Also, great to see others finally hitting the woods and hunting. Been out a few times and had some small doe encounters but nothing worth sending an arrow through yet. Back at it this week after two wash out rain days. Good luck!

I think you did your part Jordan! Way to get the team off to a great start. If it ever stops raining here in WI, hopefully I’ll be able to contribute some as well!

The only other thing you could do is finish the team Avatar or make it savable so we can use it.

Back on stand for my 3rd sit of the season. I am hunting a 60 acre private spot I just got permission to hunt. It hasn’t been hunted for 3 years. I hear acorns falling. Hoping for some action! Good luck to all who are out!

    Congratulations Booner!

I finally got out this week. I went out Monday and Tuesday. Tuesday I seen 6 bucks with 2 being a shooter. They stayed about 80 yards out of range. This spot has been a pain in my ass for years. But between last year and this year things are looking up. Heading out to the bluff country of Western Wi with my son on Thursday. Odds go up out that way for him and I.

Guys, I am super jealous of you guys being out right now. I have under a month to go before I can get out in the mountains.

I threw practice blades on tonight. I set my target up and practiced in low light situations. I did get some guidance on an area to hunt where there are some nice deer coming out of. I might go look at some layers tomorrow and start getting up early and shooting in the cold.

These were two deer that come out of that area this last weekend. Gives me hope for a good deer this year.

Second sit of the year. More in an observation stand to try and figure out where the deer are moving with all the water but have also killed decent buck from this stand as well so you never know! Water has receded quite a bit but still very wet which it will be all year I’m guessing. Got a doe bedded about 150 adds away. Fingers crossed! Should be getting out a lot more in the coming weeks. 2213908C-0C1D-4B8E-BBA5-7BB690ABC113.jpeg

Anyone know where we stand on the points chart? Doesn’t seem like a lot have deer dropped yet this year

I'm getting out and shooting with most of my cold gear on. Getting to 50 with pretty good consistency

On stand myself. Water is receding nicely. Actually able to get to my stand without waders. Hope for the season yet!
