One more day of class, four days on shift and then a couple of days to get out and scout. My big concern is the rifle hunt just opened and there will be other hunters out there.
Had some action this morning but no kill 2 does went screaming by me and a small grunting buck chased them around. Kinda shocked me a little his chasing so early. He ended up getting on his back legs and eating leaves on a bush RIGHT INFRONT OF ME . Good news is I’m out for the first time? Had a doe and fawn walk ahead of me through the water on the way to my stand. At least I can be quiet and scent free!
Sorry I've been quiet. Been busy with work and kids. Was at my lease yesterday and put up my Radix tower blind, moved a couple stands, cut some trails and messed with a bunch of cameras. My big buck is just moving at night right now. I am planning on going after him October 30 thru November 3rd.
