Okay, sorry I'm late to the party but I've been slammed with work and coaching volleyball Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
Just saw Fitz on BHOD season 7 episode 19 last night. I didn't know we had a "Movie Star" on our team. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Oh, here's the small size of the logo. Should be able to right click and save to upload to your avatars.
Shooter #2 name. I think in keeping with the theme of your screen name Darth Redneck. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
Well, here's hoping I'm not dead weight for this team. Short intro - I live in south Texas, just getting back into bow hunting after a 20 year hiatus of just gun hunting. All my previous bow hunting days were when I lived in Michigan. Hard to believe how fast 20 years flies by! Anyway, I hadn't picked up a bow in those 20 years til recently, and to make matters more seemingly difficult I decided to switch from LH to RH, because after getting fitted for glasses in the spring I found out this left handed guy is right eye dominant! At first it felt really funny and foreign, but after about 250 arrows I'm starting to feel more comfortable. The photo attached is my best group of 5 arrows yet - though only 20 yards away. (Yes, I plan to shoot groups of 3 very soon). I'm just now starting to shoot from 30 yards, and so far I'm only getting about a 5"-6" group, hoping to get up to 40 by the end of the month. All I have is this small block, so I'm trying to ease into longer range shots. Curious how often you guys shoot? Fitz, do Axis deer count in this contest? Sorry, if this is covered in the rules and I was too lazy to recheck.
Looks like some pretty good shooting! I had to work pretty hard to get my groups to a size I was comfortable with. Then I started to work at farther distances. I had my best day of shooting ever yesterday (good thing because I won't be able to shoot for a few weeks now). I was shooting out to 60 yards with good groups, didn't measure inches, but I was happy with them. That helps me be comfortable at 30-35 yards on an animal.
