I had does in range my last two hunts, but I never got the shot angle I wanted (quartering away). Their luck will run out soon, I hope! -fsh

Sat for my first time with my bow last night. Saw 3 does and a 140” 8. Only had a shot on a doe but I’m not ready to shoot one just yet. Too warm lol. Need to bucks to get bigger! Good luck everyone! I've pretty much retired from tracking wounded deer save for a few friends. Amber and I got on a long track yesterday that took us into a swamp - I was ready to give up when Amber saved the day... -fsh
A lil late checkin in with yall. Monday, at bout 5:40 pm, i saw a doe moving thru the thicket i was in. Turned out to be 3 does. Flung my arrow at this gal at 6 yards and she crashed between 50 -75 yards. I walked in and read sign ( id scouted this area prior to season). Had a spike walk up to bout 15 yards as i was standing there looking for a good tree for the wind. All in all it was a satisfying, productive hunt. Glad im on the board. Seemed like every hunt i was just outside of where i needed to be. Not Monday. Im headed out here momentarily to attempt to fling an arrow at 1 of several really nice bucks we've located. 3 definite shooters and another thats legal. Will check back in later on. Until then, aim small, shoot straight, n glory to God!!! God bless
Congrats on getting a doe! I hope you have equal luck on tagging one of those shooter bucks. I have not been out yet, but keeping close tabs on cameras and scrapes to let me know when to hit it hard. Good luck to all!
I went out yesterday morning to an observation stand. Saw almost 30 deer. 3 small bucks and 3 coyotes. Trying to learn this new property before I push in too much. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I had a doe @15yds this afternoon. I waited 5 min until she gave me the shot I wanted. I put a 2"X 1-3/4" hole thru her heart. She didn't go far. I'll get her entered in a day or so. -fsh
Not much to report, went out this past week. 6hrs later made it to camp. Started unpacking and getting ready, checking inventory and realizing I left my bow at home. SMH. I took a small doe this afternoon. Again waited for her to get to a quartering away shot, and center-punched her heart. She didn't go far. -fsh
