Saw 1st fresh rub of the season and a new scrape yesterday. Located several sets of big tracks. Gettin excited. Confidence is high!!
Hey Guys sorry I've been MIA! Work has been crazy and temps have been pretty warm up here yet. We did have a little front come through this weekend so I got out Sunday afternoon but no luck. Have one buck I've had pictures of the last 3 years that is an old mature bruiser that I'm hoping to cross paths with this fall!

I had an 8pt between 50 and 65 browsing for bout 20 minutes this mornin. 1st time in tbe spot and knew i needed to move a lil further, but actually thought i was in the dark. Oh well, bout to go set back up to catch him hopefully moving back outta the bedding
Just got back from public hunting, saw 6 deer which is surprising good for this forest. Had a doe and her yearling come with in 15 yards on my weak side. She spotted me and jumped back but didn't spook. Nice 8 pt came trotting through at 50 yards but never gave me an opportunity to even get ready. Won't go back out for a weeks, waiting for the temp.to drop. Getting hot again in Central TX. Anybody else have any luck. Sent from my SM-A037U using Tapatalk

Hey all, sorry for being MIA, work and my hobby job (woodworker) have been super busy trying to get orders done before the season. Well made it out a little late this morning, but saw a few does and a small buck, first weekend of the season, hoping for one of the bucks we have on camera to slip up and show up during daytime hours.
