On second thought I don’t need to talk to Justin. The last time I brought this up he told me it was up to me and I could do what I wanted to do. Therefore. I am going to do what I wanted to do back in 2021.

The rules have been officially changed to state that only whitetail deer and mule deer native to North America can be entered. That means that Sika can no longer be entered.

I’ve sent a PM to the only hunter that I know of who has entered a Sika.

This problem isn’t a problem any longer. @fshafly2 - You’re free to hunt for your buck to put on the scorecard and I apologize for the confusion.

I need you to edit your scorecard entry to include the time of the kill.

You have to @LittleChief a case of beer if your team wins.

Someone already claimed the captain’s position on the previous page.

I’m getting confused now. Let me know when you guys get it ironed out.

Arkansas official opener is next weekend. Will probably pass opening morning to be with family but looking to be out the 2nd day for sure. Planning to do quick camera check and feed trees tomorrow.

I won't be out until after our youth weekend which is Oct 5-6. My 10 year old daughter will be trying it for the first time. After that weekend I will be out after Somes does on some public pieces near the house. Good luck to the guys that are out

We finally got almost 2 inches of rain. My food plot seed has been laying in dust for over a month. The plots will likely not be great, but at least now I have a chance of growing something. I had a new clover field that I really want to get a good start before the first hard freeze. That will be marginal at best now. I will probably be doing some additional frost seeding late next winter. Several new bucks are starting to show up on cameras now that they have shed velvet and changing patterns. Our temps also dropped about 20 degrees and that will make the scrapes start showing up.

We’ve had a scrape really open up the last week. Several small bucks are hitting it daily.
