I can get MGH to do an avatar for us once we get a name picked. Rack Reapers? I picture a sweet rack with a reaper sickle or something.

Nice catch John, that earns you my vote for team captain! :D
OMG! I just checked and TEmbry (Trevor) never signed up for the contest... That puts us solidly out in front!! (even with my puny little contribution) I'm okay with my contribution though because it almost guarantees that I'll shoot a pig of a mulie next week in CO to add injury to the insult of shooting my P&Y buck AFTER I shot my entry (which I thought was P&Y when I let the arrow go). How can a person stalk in to 3 yards of a bedded buck and not notice that one side of it's rack is essentially missing?!!!

Jenna, for your missing mass measurements, go halfway to the tip of the main beam from where you took your last measurement and take the next measurement. Then go halfway to the end from that one to get the next. Hope that makes sense.
As an example; a spike would have 4 H measurements, one at each 1/4 of it's length starting just above the burr then up 1/4 then up 1/4 (to the 1/2 way point) then up 1/4 from there (to the 3/4 point). In Jenna's case her right antler has a G1 which defines that the H1 should be taken at the narrowest point between the burr and G1. H2 is normally taken at the narrowest point between G1 and G2 but since she has no G2 the distance to the tip is measured from the point of the H1 measurement. That distance is divided by 4 and an H measurement is taken at each incrimental distance from the H1 measurement to obtain 4 total H measurements equally spaced from one another. If the distance from H1 was 8 inches she would have H2 2" out the antler from H1, H3 would be 4" from H1 and H4 would be 6" out from H1. The same logic follows if there is a G2 but no G3. H2 is at the narrowest point between G1 and G2 and that establishes the base point for establishing H3 and H4 between H2 and the tip.

I've been seeing a few small bucks too and there is usually a good buck prowling around, but they don't show themselves in daylight very often.
I have MGH working on a mock up on Rack Reapers, but that was only cause feet were dragging. He says he'll be done tomorrow and have something for us. If First Strike is what we want, I will have him work on something in that neighborhood. What avatar ideas are there?

I'm kind'a partial to First Strike but hey... I struck first. We don't get to whack does (nannies are a totally different species) up here normally but I may go for one this season 'cause there are just too damn many of them around. I've got a 3rd tag I can go either sex with up here in Nov. I'm not sure if my CO mulie tag is bisexual or not but I'm thinking not. In any case, I may be good for another 50 points later in the season.
S-What? Get an Elite and quit worrying about which bow you're going to shoot! I've got two Z-28's in the last 2 years and I'll never shoot another bow. Anyone want to buy a fully rigged, tack driving DXT? It's awesome but it doesn't even compare to the Z-28. J/K I'm the last one to knock anyone's choice in bows or be a brand loyal nut. I can't do this stuff on the open forum though.. and in all honesty, I like to cause trouble. Since it's only the 10 of us you may see more of that here.
LOL, what you looking to get out of the DXT? I am a heck of a bow salesmen. The Z's (28) are pretty sweet Rob. Rob/PA and I were just messing with a DXT last night at his house, a friend of his was getting ready for a bear hunt. On the nanny front, we need all the 50 slaps we can get. Wack em!!!!
So I see we have a trial run avatar for Rack Reapers in Bens posts. I like the idea, but I think it might need some color or something. Black and white just seems to be missing something. We're not getting a whole lot of participation on this from the rest of the team, so what do the rest of you guys think? This isn't a dictatorship!! I really don't care, but if somebody really wants a certain name we can put it to a vote with the top few choices. Or if you can post an avatar to go with it that might work better. We need a few more of the team to chime in on this.
