Good luck this weekend you guys, By the way, where's Jenna? Isn't she supposed to be laying down a doe for us? The competition is breathing down our neck!

I'll be out scouting for brown bears this weekend. The season opens on Monday and it's going to be too crappy to get in the mountains after goats. Schultzy hooked me up with a couple trail cams I'm going to set on a travel corridor and a fishing hole tonight.

Nice on the recovery Ben! I got the 2 cameras out. One is on a supposed 10 footer that's been raiding and killing some sheep. Another is on a stream that I set up on regularly but I'm thinking he's only another 9 footer like the one that was in there last year... of course I only thought that one was an 8 footer until I put my friend on him and he killed it... maybe I need to rethink that one.

Sat all day today. Got skunked. Unreal. It was a first. We'll rest up tomorrow and hit it hard again Monday after work.

The bucks are tearing up the scrapes on my farm..... but it's all night time action. I got tons of pics and video of bucks at my scrapes from 9pm-4am. I need a good smelling doe around to get em out during daylight. At least 4 shooters showed up at the scrapes this week, last week was only small bucks. I sat over my trail thru the woods which is littered with over a dozen scrapes, both Friday evening and Saturday am. Saw a couple does, no bucks at all until I was walking out Saturday am. Saw a little guy bedded in a hollow. Headed back later this week after it cools off.

    Good luck John.

We better put something on the ground 'cause Team 19's JayB22 just anchored a mulie that'll put them out in 1st place by at least a doe.

This week's wind forecast looks awesome, the temps suck though. Regardless, I will probably not press into my rutish stands until later in the week when the temps come back down. Chance for this year's birthday buck on Saturday but I won't be upset if I spoiled it before them. Tuesday is the only day I can't hunt this week. Stay thirsty my friends.

Hey, The Most Interesting Man in the World would call in a Booner at will and kill it with his pinky finger! You better produce now!

The temps are supposed to drop like a rock Wednesday night into Thursday and Friday. I smell vacation time coming. Think I'll head to the farm Wednesday night and come home when the buck's on the ground. I hope.

This will be the first cool weather since opening weekend. That has to improve deer movement.

Bears are moving but one got shot in the drainage I'm in by some rifle hunters today. I hope it wasn't the big boy I'm after.

    Shoot us a stud John!

Alright team, we need at least a doe to take the lead back from Team #19. Somebody kill something soon.

We gonna need more than that in the doe front to lick this thing. But, I like staying on the lead lap. I second the motion for someone to crack a doe soon!!

Where's Jenna at? I think she's still got a doe tag. Did she run out of steam after filling her buck tag?

Boy, if we do fall behind on this I hope it's by more than the 14 point difference between my first and second bucks! I've done what I can do though, the rest is up to y'all! :D I'm confident you'll get 'er done.

Well guys like I said earlier my season is drawing to an end soon. My last day of work here in Idaho is next tuesday, the 2nd. I will not be leaving for Montana until the 6th so I should have some time to put a deer on the ground. Doe season begins on the first so if nothing else I should have a solid chance at 50 points for us.

Saw a 65-70ish 7 point tonight, didn't figure we needed points that bad. :) Would have liked to see his dad make an appearance.
