Just curious if any of you have experimented with pre orbital scents? I've been doing these for years now and believe it's the best way to see what bucks you have patrolling around your property. Once you get these guys to over sign the lick branch/scrape, it really starts to get exciting pulling the cards out of the trail camera.
That will kill a deer as long as you have confidence in yourself! Im hoping to get out tomorrow and get some shooting in an hopfully get out once more before opening day this weekend!! Been real busy with school so this weekend is much needed!
Been real busy between work and getting ready for my wyoming mule deer trip at the end of the month I haven't even had time to pull my camera cards but not really getting my hopes up yet, it's usually the end of october when the big guys start showing up since our property's are more travel corridors with the crops around us. After everything is harvested (in 4-5 weeks) we'll start drawing them in and especially later on with our late season plots. Anyway season starts saturday, may go and sit that afternoon just to see what's happening and check camera's. Good luck to everyone else who's going this weekend.
Just ordered a new ladder stand last night. Hope to get it picked up by this weekend and put in place. Trying to get all my firewood cutting done where I'm gonna be hunting so I can vacate the area and let things settle down.

Shot my archery buck on opening day last year so been waiting since then to get another MN buck down!! Ill try to get an update on here asap! Last year opening day was one of the best days i ever had hunting as for seeing big bucks....so hoping for the best again this season! Good luck to everyone that has opening day this weekend!

I triedyeaterday morning. Heard a buck grunting and rubbing against a tree. Called to him. He answered, but would not come out. I'll try again today maybe.
most of us talk on here reg. but Frosty is the only one that I see is never on and only has 10 post...... soooooo seems he might be our weakest link. but other than that we are doing good. Umpire Jim do you get put on our team????
Got to go tonight, saw 3 does, 2 yr old 7 pt. and a nice bobcat. Helped a good friend recover his buck from opening night, he's one of the ones we've been watching this year...but he's not one of the big ones which is good for me now that he's done till rifle season.
Well was only able to get out sat morning! Felt awesome to be out on stand! Only seen few does and fawns. No bucks for me this weekend....hoping to maybe sneak out some during the week! Will be tough....but gonna try my best!
