Here is a list so far of suggested team names. (Let me know if I missed any) We can begin looking them over and as they are liked or disliked I will either highlight or delete them from the list. It would be nice to have them thinned down to just a few by Monday so we can vote on them as Jakeratt suggested. Tree Rats Tree Huggers YoYos Confused Tag Soup After typing these I will admit that I for one am leaning towards the 1 word names. For example "Team Crimson" or "Team Broadhead". If you have any additional team name ideas I can add them to the list. On another note. I hope nobody thinks I am overstepping Jakeratt by doing this. It's just sort of how I am. Back when I was heavily involved in youth baseball I was the director not the coach. I took care of the behind the scenes stuff and organizing. The coaches took care of the teams.
I like Crimson. Could have some cool crimson splash red logos. It would look good on a camo hat too. We could get some to hunt or take photos with. Just my thoughts. Just my .02
I like grounded more than crimson. I could make up a avatar of a buck laying dead or something fancy like that but as far as doing. Crimson I don't know how to make an avatar of that. But I am up for suggestions! So here it is. Are we going to go with: Grounded Crimson
Hey guys sorry for not being on here much lately, it has been a hectic week trying to take care of stuff before the hurricane, which ended up not having much of an impact on my area (so far) as was previously thought. As far as name, I first recommended grounded so thats were my vote would be cast, but either is good. Only problem with crimson is it makes me fill associated with Alabama. I like Grounded too. Sorry don't have much time to get on here right now but like the grounded team name but also partial to Team Crimson, here's what come's to mind for me.... Anyway season starts Sept 15th but not sure if i will be getting my hands bloody, usually wait for late season.
Looks like we quickly narrowed it down to "TEAM CRIMSON" with 2 votes "TEAM GROUNDED" with 4 votes (J&A+2 was a bit on the fence but he mentioned Grounded first so I stuck his vote on Grounded) I haven't voted yet. I'm trying to decide which name we could have more fun with on the forums or make a cooler avatar with. Grounded: Buck laying dead on the ground. Crimson: Blood running through the fingers of a hand. Or when you shoot a deer, starting a thread named: Another buck GROUNDED! The CRIMSON tide flows again! These are just ideas floating in my head.

I sent PM's to the other two members of our team to see if they are going to join us and one of the guys has not been on this site since the 7th of this month. I hope that if he is going to join us that he will visit more frequently. USFAN51473 was on this morning and i guess he must not know he is on our team or he no longer wants to compete.
I have to go with grounded as well. but on a side not, the big 10 sucks. SEC all the way. But being a Vols fan, I could never mutter the words "crimson tide."
Grounded seems to be the top vote and that is what sounds best to me as well! I cant think of anything better either. My season starts Sept 15.

As far a phone numbers go. My cell is 419-549-6888 I'm self employed so I can talk pretty much whenever I want. Texting works but I'm a little slower than most. My kids and my wife are slowly getting me up to date with these new phones. I hate to ask, but now that we are all named and have a Captain.... What now??? Do we simply wait till the season starts and then talk about our hunts or is there something more?
