Team 14 Grounded

Hey guys, haven't been out for about 2 weeks now, just wanted to check in. I like to wait until the last weekend of October before I start to intrude to badly on my properties. I'll definitely be out starting around 27th. D & DH magazine said for us northern guys November 5th is the day to be in the woods with an early rut this year. Good luck guys. We need some points.

 

well this rain sucks. I was in the stand and some one turned the shower on and now it wont stop till late this afternoon

Hey guys. Sorry I've been off the board for a while. I got swamped at work for 10 days straight. Thursday through Sunday I'll be hunting in Nebraska and filming all my time in the stand. Hopefully I'll be putting points on the board and I'll live text on here if I get good service. Good luck to everyone.

 

Well I have hunted 3 days straight and have not gotten anything in range or really seen much to make my heart rate even flutter. This season is kinda a bust so far

 

I know I'm having problems putting 2 and 2 together.

Gusts up to 60mph today. It was ridiculous. Saw 3 muley does but no shots due to behind brush or too far for this wind.

way to go KS and we did not get a new teammate I asked FItz and he said not at this time.

 

Getting ready to head out for a hunt. Wind isn't the greatest for me but not terrible.

Well guys I had a 25 yard shot yesterday morning but elected to pass on a doe. Good news is I saw my target buck raking the heck out of a willow tree as I was walking back to my truck. It was dark but I could see on the horizon a willow just swaying back & forth. Pull up the Binos & there he was with his buddy just putting it on the tree. I know he's there just got to figure out where to get up in my climber to connect. Also saw two 1.5 go at it for about 10 seconds. Pretty nice Saturday.

Nice work KS!!! Glad we are on the board!! Had a decent weekend....seen a bunch of deer no shooters but was a good weekend of hunting! I think the rut will be right around the corner for us in MN. Im hoping it holds off for a week and a half as thats the next time I will be able to get in the stand!
