That's better than I expected!! I had read some not so nice things referring to mountain jacks as hillbillies and their family trees not having any branches.
Google offered a much different definition so this is actually a relief! Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I’m in the stand for the first time this year. 88 degrees out here and I’m sweating bad. Low expectations Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
All I can say is HOT !!!!! Hunting watering holes and creek crossing are not helping, cameras show 90% of deer movement at night. Come on cooler weather. Dave
I might give it a try this afternoon. Its between a large thunderstorm and a hurricane so they may move around some and try to feed. I might not even try it though. Good luck to anyone out hunting.
Man guys even though my season goes until 10/29, it may be about over. I've noticed a significant drop off in the deer activity on my property ever since my buddy harvested his grapes. Seems like with no treats, the deer have moved on. I'm still trying and still have my cameras out but unless I get something on them, it might be pretty tough. I've got 2 tags and an itchy trigger finger so unless some cooler weather comes, I may be SOL.
I’m not sure I can keep sitting out there in 90 degree heat. Desperately need a drop in temperature. I saw 7 today but only 3 in range. It was a doe and 2 fawns. Checked out the food plots and they’re growing great. After a couple frosts kill off all the acorns, deer should hit them pretty hard. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums

Did a public land metro unit hunt yesterday in Green Bay after classes were over, it’s to far of a drive back home to hunt where I usually do, hoping to get a doe off there, but who knows maybe there’s a monster suburban buck hanging out back there too! A cold front will be moving in for early next week. I will be able to hunt Monday and Tuesday. Hopefully that will get them up on their feet more than they have been in these 85 degree temps.
Hitting the woods in the morning. Supposed to be 55 degrees. Got my spot picked out. Hopefully lots of movement. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Didn’t see a thing this morning. It’s been so slow this season. I’m not used to sitting and seeing nothing. Patience is not my strong suit. Still nice to be out and listen to nature wake up. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Sitting out tonight, temps are around 50, got a good feeling about this weekend, Sunday is only a high a 53 and a low of 35! Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Weatherman, only job you can always be wrong and keep your job. Suppose to be light drizzle to foggy this morning, it is POURING and has been for last hour. Dave
