It looks like there was about to be a cat fight in front of one of my cams a little bit ago![IMG]

Doe score is just 50 bonus points. You can enter a second buck, only first counts for gross score. Second, even if is bigger is 50 points, but can replace a doe. So shoot the biggest one first!!!

Thanks Tink for being CaptN. I am good with Doe’thraki

That’s only for the Biggest Doe Contest. A doe only scores 50 points in the team scoring.

I had to do an impromptu bathroom renovation on top of 12 hour shifts so I haven't been able to check in for the last few weeks. My name is Mike, I live in north central Illinois, I work in steel processing but am enrolled in college to become a network engineer, I got my wife interested in hunting last year, and am very much looking forward to the upcoming season.

So consensus seems to be, for the name of our team, Doe'Thraki... correct. And I'll be leader of this band of misfits. If there are any objections, speak your mind. If I don't hear anything by this evening or tomorrow morning, I'll send the info onto the Grandmaster Chief

Had a first today… and not a good one!

My good friend and hunting buddy were out moving a few sets of stands. I was clearing some ground cover for shooting lanes and apparently stepped right in a hive of ground hornets. Buddy!

At first I thought a thorn got me right on my index finger I went to pull out the thorn and bee’s we’re all over me. I flipped my hat off - then my bag pack and took off running. Then my shirt off and harness at the same time.

Then I looked down and I’ve got 5-10 bee’s on my jeans. Jeans off and hunting boots off. All the way to my skivvies.

Stung about 14 times all together give or take. I’m alive. It wasn’t a fair fight. My buddy got my pants stomped clean. My shirt clean. Retrieved my bag - the hat wasn’t salvageable. He got stung once in the process. We called it a day.
