I hear that! Zero movement tonight here. I have had 3 trail cam pics since dark. I would typically already have over a hundred. I think all the mature bucks are locked in on a doe in combination with the front that came through with alot of rain. I think next week is going to be the best week here for chasing and seeking with the drop in temp and the high pressure we are expecting.

Missed this afternoon due to work. Heading out in the morning, Friday and Saturday. NW/W winds so trying a new stand setup on a hang and hunt.

Passed a 2.5 yr old 8 point. Regretting it now. I am trying help this family manage the property, but I think asking for forgiveness should apply when your freezing in 12-17 mph gusts.

Big fat nothing again for me yesterday morning. This past week has sucked for deer sightings. Unfortunately I’m done until Monday. Headed to Pittsburg for the weekend to visit my son at school. Of course I will be missing the one Sunday in archery season that the game commission allows hunting as of now. Complete bummer!! I’m down to maybe 4 sits next week. Starting to feel the pressure!!!

Only a week left for NY before the orange army. I'm going to hunt my house a little more. At my house I didn't care what I kill so t be able to kill a 110 for us. It's crunch time fellas. We need everyone to get active on here. Even just check in and report that you are still trying.

Even if I don’t score a buck during archery season I will most likely take the bow out during gun season. I don’t even own a rifle....... I know landowner has a few people that rifle hunt there but they all hunt fields. No one wants to deal with the steep hill to the creek. I will tuck myself at bottom of hill by creek on a hot trail and wait for gun hunters around me to push them.

I take my bow out during gun season as well but it's different. They are so skittish, I've only killed every other year during that and almost never a buck.

Opening morning of rifle here in MO. This oughta be its own Holiday the these orange people act. Hunting at our place today may go in to the city tomorrow morning to avoid the orange.
    Good Luck, Team!!

I'm going to be getting back after it starting on Thursday with meat on my mind. Small or big doe is going down. I'm not going to be picky. I've got two more tags if the first one is a small yearling deer. The only thing I don't want to do is shoot a small button/spike buck. My management tags are antlerless tags so I can't shoot anything bigger than a 3 inch spike and I'd prefer to let a buck live on to grow up.
I'll have to re-sight in my bow with my new arrows, but I should be able to get that done tomorrow morning.
