Sounds like your a busy man.both my kids are older now which makes things easier. My sons a junior in college and my daughter is starting college in January. I love to golf as well. My son actually plays golf for his school. He worked hard his entire life to get scholarship money to play D-1 golf and he succeeded. It actually I feel has made him a better person by not hanging around the types of kids I did when I was younger. I would suggest anyone to get their kids into golf it’s a great thing for you to do together for your entire life. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I took 7-12 off for vacation this year. But as a FS Engineer I won't lie, I usually hunt twice a day all season. The only things getting in my way is coaching VB.
I wish I could get out that much. I usually hunt twice on saturdays and 3 evenings a week after work. My employer is cool about cutting out at 2:00. I usually start at 6 and work through lunch do no vacation time needed. Some of my saturdays this year may be out due to a nieces wedding and we are traveling to watch my son’s golf team twice. Wow! Very cool - where does your son play D1 golf? I ran D1 Track for 4 years at Indiana State. My best friend played golf for Ball State - unfortunately he died in a car accident his freshman year, 2011. The head coach Mike Fleck still a very close friend of mine to this day. I always played golf as a kid but running was my ticket… Once I graduated I took golf more serious - I’m not great by any means like a 15 handicap but play a of scrambles and such for work and at our Country Club here in my hometown.
He plays for Robert Morris. A small private school in Pittsburg. Not a big name school but it was his choice out of the 2-3 offers he got. Crazy how good these kids are when you get to that level. From what he says girls have a really good chance at scholarships if they are halfway descent. Something to think about. I always thought we were dumping a lot of money into lessons and tournaments but it all paid off in the end. College ain’t cheap !! Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums

Other than knowing what to do with all the deer you’ve killed….. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I shot them at my house and I'm dead nuts but I am going to the shop tomorrow to throw a few bare shaft just to be sure
Not the greatest picture but had a buddy send me this last night. Seems I may have a brightly colored critter to chase this fall. Deer not actually on farm I hunt in picture but very close. Rumor has it there is also a piebald buck running around too. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Anyone have any have any hunting/outdoor related activities planned for the rest of this week and holiday weekend?! - Before the weekend is up I hope to get some stand worked checked off on all of my properties. I've really got a lot of work to do that I'd typically have done by now. I had just been waiting on the heat wave to break and it finally has. Also going to get all my trail cameras set and ready to go - time to move them off the summer lick pattern and onto some mock scrapes and travel corridors. - Also hope to get out on the Ranger and do a little bass fishing. Might be my last chance to get out this year. - Lastly plan to consume so cold beverages and probably do some cooking on the Blackstone.
My oldest is playing her first VB game and looks to be starting so we are going to Maine to watch. Fairly sure we will stop in Vermont for a hike to break up the drive.
Nice! Who does she play VB for? Our team may suck at killing deer when all is said and done but you guys have done a hell of a job raising some really good athletes it sounds like! Let's goooooo
