You betcha!! Had a great first sit. Saw lots of deer. Pretty much from first light to 8:30 when I shot one. Headed back to same area tonight hoping they all stayed around. I would guess I saw 20. Nothing smelled me or spooked.

It's always nice to sit through a bunch of activity. Especially when you cap it off with a kill!

I was just reviewing videos from a couple of my cameras and on the farm with the multiple shooters on it, I'm getting lots of daylight videos of skyscraper and another couple really quality 8 pointers. Both evening and morning movement. I've also got a nice 10 degree temp drop next Saturday into Sunday! I really hope that holds and doesn't shift one day either way. It's going to be go time!

Got her cut up and freezing as we speak. Have 5 pounds of jerky marinating. Will dehydrate that tomorrow after work. Taking some prime pieces plus ground to the farmer. A small price to pay. Back at it Tuesday. This first full week has historically been the most productive for me with big buck opportunities on this farm. Has me excited!!

2 of 11 of us have put doe down this far correct?!

We really need to get to around 8 or more to have a chance I think. So that makes 6 more of us!!

I will have one killed before Nov. 1. Don't like to kill does during prime time.

I'm assuming that I'll also be able to get one down relatively soon, next two weeks I'd say. I'm just jumping around in the early season trying to hang and bang a good buck prior to hitting my private land to much. The area I tired to hunt last Friday morning, which has historically been a great morning area, looks to be more of an afternoon spot this year. The weather still looks good for Sunday so I'm guessing that's going to be my best shot (thus far) to get on either Skyscraper or his rival on the property. As long as everything holds, I'll be there Sunday morning nice and early so I can take my time and be silent getting things set up. I'm still very hopeful at this point that everything proceeds as planned. Fingers crossed boys! I'll also be able to hunt Thursday evening on my way home from golfing in Alexandra with one of my bank reps. So more fingers crossed.

Been a long day!! My daughter got into an accident last night at 10:30 on her way home from work. Nobody was hurt but her car is most likely not repairable some idiot decided to pull out from a stop sign in front of her!! Didn’t get much sleep last night. Thank god no one was hurt!! Headed to bed to try to catch up on some zzzzzz’s
Headed to the stand tomorrow after work. Hope to be settled in by 3:30.

Haven’t been out since being rained out on Saturday… Was wet here all weekend and now warm. No ideal. Not worth putting too much pressure on my properties. My lack of updates will only be temporary!

Praise God she is ok. We have a young girl from our church recovering from an accident. It is heartbreaking.
