Do you have to go to shop to shoot? No range at home?

No I have lots of land but at the shop I have a controlled environment and I have access to all the tools to tune. I help out there so he lets me use all his stuff.

Another upload from one of my cell cams. This one looks like it was moving right under my stand. Which would be just into the lighter area up and to the left.[IMG]

Sorta, new string and cable this year. Cranked the poundage up a little, moved to new arrows and broadheads. Been hot enough to melt the wax off the string/cable. I need to get it all dialed yet.

I'm dialed in out to 30, need a little more control at 40 (4/5 inside 7 inch group), but my 50 yard shots were all over. Granted the last day I was shooting was 20+mph winds so I'm going that has some to do with it, but last year my groups at 50 were inside am 8 inch group. I'm going to have to shoot again to that distance on a calmer day just to see if it's me or if it was just the wind. After shooting that distance though, the shots inside of 30 were really right groups.
The last bit of practice I'll need to put in before the 18th will be shooting elevated from my new saddle. I've shot from it, but only at about 6ft off the ground as my sticks were still out in the field from last season.

I'm a old school hang on guy. I have been hunting the same properties for 20 yrs . At my farm I have 17 stands up so I can be as versatile as I need to be.

I'm not sharing any pics this year guys, as a experiment. I know it doesn't matter at all and couldn't effect it, but I wanna see the results

That would be an affirmative. Last year, if (these are a couple of big 'if's) i would have had a saddle and would have picked the opposite side the tree line to hang from a tree, I would have had a great opportunity on that brow tine giant. Right then and there I decided to be more versatile in my approach to hunting styles. I'll probably ask you some questions as we move along into the season. It's good to know there is at least one other saddle hunter in the group!
