Holy smokes, you guys are pretty fired up to kick off the season. Shorty story is I haven't seen any giants but the food and does are here so the big bucks will show up soon enough. I am going to stay pretty tight lipped because years past I feel like I jinxed it... I am fine with any team name (well almost any team name), lol! Deer season starts 9/13 in KS. I probably won't get out much early season unless I have a cell trail cam that tells me otherwise. I have 3 private parcels to hunt this year, 2 of which are mine.

Dude, I'm the least creative person when it comes to that stuff. That's why our youngest is my Avi. He makes silly faces when he walks in front of the trail cam's.

Thought you were going to say you were hunting from the hot-air balloon.

Zoom in maybe you’ll see a guy in camo poised and ready to drop in for the shot.

I actually prefer not too. It also has a lot of other challenges that really don't exist on the other parcels I hunt. Mainly neighbors etc... lol! You better believe I will be down in there hunting if a buck like this one show up again. He is MIA. :( Probably dead....

Just filled out application for doe tag number 4 to stick in the mail tomorrow. They don’t start accepting them until Monday so it should be in their office Monday morning. My unit only has 988 left out of 60,000. Hopefully I get it that will definitely fill the freezer and give me plenty of meat for sausage, jerky , bologna etc.

I'm so glad I don't have to fill out for tags. I just whack'em and stack'em when it comes to does. Missouri has a really good program, IMO. $7 for a doe tag is a pretty good deal.

We have the same type of set-up as well as neighbor problems. The neighbor problems weren't a problem until they built a house right across the fence. It is nice to walk out the door and be in the stand in 10 minutes. That part is really cool. Never thought that would be an option for us.

Good luck buddy! Get us on the board with an opening day doe if you've got a tag for one!
