A little buck has me pinned down. Can’t get in the tree. He was bedded 10 yards from the tree I want in. He came within 7 yards. Thought I was going to have a wrestling match on my hands

Small buck and a small doe this morning. I would’ve shot the doe, but I was still hunting and she came in behind me. I didn’t know she was there and I took a step and she saw me. No open rubs, but there’s a patch of beans in a shady corner that are still green, so I think I’m going to set up inside the woods a little between acorns and beans. Here’s tonight’s set up Red is oaks, green is green bean patch, white is me.
What hunting app is that? I like how it has the distance and wind (I'm assuming that is what the red shaded area on the distance circle is?) overlay.
If you were able to get you phone out and video him from the deck with no cover at that distance at least you know that your Camo and scent control is on point.
HuntStand. They’ve upgraded it quite a bit to keep up with OnX. The red is your “scent cone”. It works well for a general wind direction but nothing compares to dropping milk weed.
