Hunted yesterday. Didn't see anything other than another hunter riding his bike through the middle of my hunt. LOL

    Would a weather change help?

Might be able to get a hunt in on Thursday in the afternoon. Hopefully it all works out.

Rain helps greatly but truest way would be a frost but droughts are EHD’s best friend.

Cooler weather rolling into the midwest next week. Time to launch arrows.

I echo this. We should be good to go.

I'm super pumped for Sunday as we're supposed to have about a 20 degree temp drop, low of 45 and high if 64, hoping to at least see some movement!

Happy Saturday team! We're finally getting rain in NWMo! We haven't had substantial rain in over a month. This guy just showed up this morning and I would love to hear your thoughts on age. 860322065302454-80-2-09212024070652-W1001855.jpg 860322065302454-70-2-09212024071024-W1001858.jpg 860322065302454-70-2-09212024071124-W1001859.jpg

Well got a good deal on a brand new two man ladder stand this week. Ended up getting it put together yesterday and my wife helped me set it today. Definitely forgot how much time was involved putting stands together. Hoping that after letting it sit for the next week that we will be able to sit and see something.

Went out last night and saw 8 does and 8 raccoons. I had two does come in right below me and was able to get some footage of them drinking and walking around, I opted not to shoot because I had an 8am sharp work meeting and usually I'll wait until we get some cooler temps to shoot a doe just because of my work schedule. With that being said, if the does stick around, there should be more bucks making their way to my inlaws property over the next month. I don't know if I'll get out at all this week, maybe Wednesday, but it depends on what's going on at home and with work.

Any of you do your own ground venison or anything of that sort? I'm debating on investing in a meat grinder and potentially doing my own this year to save some $$

Too much chest to be a two year old for sure...I'd say if he isn't 3.5 he is for sure 4.5.

Depending on your property and goals he is a slammer.
