Any further thought as to the team name? I had some posted above. Not sure if anyone noticed.

I noticed. Will give it a few more days for people to give suggestions before putting it to a vote. We are still waiting on 5 more people to check in. I sent a pm to all of them last night so hopefully they will all arrive soon and join the party!

We also need to finalize a captain unless everyone just wants me to do it which I am fine with. For those of you that don't now a captains job in this contest is to be the voice of the team. If anyone has any rules questions or complaints the captain will bring it up with Cody as well as if Cody has any issues that need a vote or what not. Instead of having to deal with over 300 contestants it is much easier for 1 person from each team to represent. Plus it helps to have one person to make sure that all pictures and scores get posted correctly. But the name and captain are a team decision.

Welcome to the site and the team Andrew! Couple nice looking bucks you have! Don't hesitate to ask if you have any contest questions or any website questions for that matter!

    thanks brad,

here is my experience with rage three blades, tried them two summers ago with some crop damage tags, lost two does, never shot them again. here is a picture of the one a few weeks later. Second picture is the buck I shot last fall. 125 inch ten point. My personal best so far. How do they score a buck for this contest?

Hey everyone! This will be my first season hunting. My dad bought me a bow last thanksgiving and i've been addicted ever since. It's currently archery season down here in swampy florida. I'm looking for some hogs at the moment. Saw a nice 4 point buck yesterday (they're small in florida). However, I will be flying up to my dad's for the week of the rut in PA. I'm super excited and have been doing alot of cam studying etc.

Andrew- Only your first buck shot this year will count for the contest along with your first doe. To register your buck you must have two pictures of the buck, you and your bow. If you are taking your own picture take the first then move the camera or turn your body but you must have 2 pictures. A buck scores based on P&Y score. An "Official Scorecard" thread will be posted shortly. Every deer harvested for this contest will be posted on that thread. Along with your 2 pictures you need to post your P&Y score in detail along with the date and time you shot the deer. If you need directions on how to do that I can get them or you can search the forums and I know you will find it. It is also asked but not required that you post your equipment details. We all like knowing what you hunted with!

The most important thing to remember is have fun! If you have an opportunity to harvest a deer and you feel happy with it take the shot! Don't worry what anyone on the site or your team thinks. We all hunt different areas and we don't judge. A great buck to one person might be considered small to another but this contest is all in fun!!!

Welcome to the team b0whunter and the welcome to the wonderful sport of hunting!!! Good luck this season! Hope you read my post about that stand you are thinking of building. Don't do it! Not worth getting yourself hurt or killed!

Sorry fellas (and gal) my last post was a little brief. I read through everyones post in this thread now.

My name is Brad as well. I live in Gainesville FL (Go Gators!) and hunt on my lease in north florida as well as my Uncles land just north of Columbus GA and possibly in West Tennessee. Like I said season opens up on Sept 17th but unsure if I will get to go out that weekend due to friends coming to visit. Looking forward to this year more than any other year! I'm good for you being the cap Fergie. Andrew, if you feel like you want to smoke that 4 point then have at it brother. You won't get anything but a congrats from all of us. Good luck everyone and remember it's all about having fun.

Perhaps we should compile all the suggested names into one post so we can compare?
