I am getting ready to pack up for a few days in Jo Davies county in NW Illinois. Property I know has some monsters so hoping I get a chance to connect!! Keep up the great work everyone!
Let's keep puttin emm down ya all!! Heck of a month of October for us as a team, if we can find a way to duplicate that effort in November we are going to be difficult to beat. I have one more day of vacation left tomorrow, going hunting in the morning. Picked a new tree out this morning that I hunted n tonight. It's a good one, I seen 2 doe and 2 little bucks. I'm not sure that I will get a buck in the month of November but I'm sure I will have one before the year is up.
you haven't got to worry about team 6 and preacher tony, I went and told them a few months back that second place would be available for them if they wanted to try for it! lol

congrates hoytchick , on the first kill , my dad put down i nice 8 point today haha did the son thing and called into work told them id be late had to help my dad drag his buck out , 300 yard drag , 30 yard shot made a perfect heart shot , ran 40 yards and crashed , pressures on me now we always have a father son comp , he beat me in 09 when we both got nice bucks im going to have to show him the crown wont be his forever , i have class till 12 then im heading to my friends farm to hunt all day , hes been seeing a hand full of shooters this week out there , hope to put one down before rifle season comes in here in PA
Oh Lordy I just realized we are in a solid 2nd place!!! We seem to be poised to surpass 1st, we have alot of teamates that still have buck tags!!
We need to put some antler down for real. As far as I'm concerned until we do we should be considered pretenders. Not that you all aint like seriously gettin it, because we put does down with the best of them. Never been in a contest like this but it would seem to me that quality wins over quantity? 2 or 3 big bucks is going to get you the prize, because not everyone on every team is going to score a buck - it would be nice but it's very unrealistic. With that said, we got to get some 140 plus on the board. I'm going to do my best as I know I've got some 140 bucks on the property I hunt however I've NEVER once seen them bucks while I have been hunting...
yeah i know its a matter of time before i put a nice buck down i know there in my spots just havent been in the right stand at the right time , been seeing a good handfull of decent bucks but still waiting out for the big ones i know that are around. got a call from a girl im friends with at 6 20 . 3 mins after she put down i nice high 8 , was pretty pumped for her it was her first buck she said she was shaking like a leaf haha gota love it

Did anybody nock one down this weekend? they were going wild here in central michigan! my buddy got his first big buck ever this morning. he has been hunting 45 years!
