yeah its 43 degrees out here but rainning , going to tough it out and get in the stand deer should be moving good tonight
Had a nice sit this morning, it was pretty chilly (low 40s), had a couple 4 pointish bucks walk in under my stand about 8:30 or so and they just kinda hung out. Got some decent video of them. Then had 2 doe in the bean field to my east at about 70 yards, thought they might circle around down my path with the north wind but they never did. Oh well, nice to be in the stand in October - loving bow season already. With that said, it was difficult getting into the stand for the first time (at darK) this morning. Had 2 deer blowing at me on my way up in the stand, who knows how big or small they were but they were blowing and stompin. Going back out this afternoon!
Little six we call forky visited my stand this morning and hung around for a bit. Hoping to take a doe this evening.
Good luck to all you guys & gal! Wish I was out hunting but have to wait till next weekend. Spent the day in the most boring Hunter Ed. class in the world. Never wanted to kill myself as bad as during that class. Honestly think I came away from it today stupider! LOL Worst instructors I have ever seen for any course!
well had a cold wet afternoon had a pretty nice 8 come hangout around my stand twice tonight i would prob shoot him late season but not the one im waiting for , also had 8 doe went to take one and the buck blew at me , all and all good night of hunting
passed on a 16 inch inside 8 pt at ten yards in hopes that my big eleven would show, he did right at last light, only problem was the closest he came was 65 yards. oh well maybe tomorrow! three shooters were seen tonight! lots of deer movement in central michigan!
guys i was told to check in with team 13 to join the team. am i in? i have a doe down already and plenty of big bucks on our land
forky came in again for our morning visit, and i had a doe and two fawns within range, but no clear shot. we'll see what the evening holds. feels great to be in back in the stand!
got us a buck on the board this morning! 18 inch inside 3 1/2 yr old 8pt. 32 yards shot 2 lungs later! God blessed me this morning!

Good luck tomorrow afternoon! I managed to make it through the most boring class I have ever taken in my life but I am now Hunter Educated! LOL I will be out next weekend which won't get here soon enough!
NICE! Congrats Andrew, that's a great looking buck man - way to keep us in this thing early on! We certainly are in business, need to keep putting em down fellas! If we fill all our tags we are going to have a chance! We need someone to get a dandy but this is a great start!
ok if I taped it right which I did it several times, along with the math, comes out at gross 216 4/8 lol oh wait thats 116 4/8! now its up to you guys to get on some of those wisconsin and illinois giants! lol I really enjoy this competition!
