Nothing too exciting...got a few shots of a doe and one of a little buck. Got a nice stand set-up though. Made sure my 20, 30, and 40 yard pins were sighted in today, just to have the level on my sight fall off and get lost in the grass. Not what I had in mind.

I love filming. I am really hoping to get a great camera next year but I am still using my Sony Handycam. I have my camera with me all the time though. Can't wait to see your footage!

Anyone else on our team filming this year? We might have to put a Venision Vigilantes video at the end of the season!

If you look you will also find a thread titled "Live from the Stand" Love reading that thread during the season!

Yes I am self filming with my Insane Archery mount with a Kodiak ZX3 HD camera. The big problem I always seem to have is remembering to turn the darn thing on when I see a deer.

I will be using my Handycam from a Gorilla treearm. I have another arm that I like way better but I need to get a fluid head for it so that is gonna wait till next season when I get a new camera. I am thinking of getting either a GoPro or Kodak for a second camera angle too.

What video editing software are you using? I am currently using Pinnacle Studio 12. I know they are up to version 15 of my software but I don't see the need to upgrade yet since I barely know how to use it. Plus the upgrade price is high so I will probably look at another software once the time comes to make the switch.

Are you posting any of your videos anywhere online?

Last year I forgot to turn on my camera so I don't have any video yet. I will probably just use Windows Movie Maker to edit. I will likely post the videos on youtube.

My video making is more for memories, fun and to review shot placement. I am not real serious about it (yet).

Ya that's how I started now I film all the time! Take my camera everywhere I go and often pull over on the side of the road to film deer and am always looking for filler video now! Love setting up the camera on a tripod to film the water or clouds and sunsets. Get ready going to turn into way more then just shot review for you as you get more into it! You will know your getting real serious when you realize you have been in the stand all day and have been talking to the camera most of the day with no one around to hear you!
