Because of the facebook site we have a lot of new members that aren't familiar with how the contest works and what to do so we need to make sure that everyone is up to speed! Great to see we are on the same team Fergie. I had another thread already started when we were team 12 before they realized they forgot about team 6. But we should use this one. You have my vote for captain. You might have to make the trip up here and help me kill something.
Easy to forget about Team 6. Bunch of slackers anyways! They won't score much this season so we don't have to worry about them at all!
Clearly team 6 (taintness - my new nickname for them) has used up all their good luck in one year and this year they will blow goats.
LOL can't stop laughing at "Blow Goats" that is great! Hope we get everyone checked in soon and hope we have some early season hunters I am still on the road home from Louisville but I am gonna go through everyone tonight and send pm's to those that haven't checked in yet! Need a good team name!

SycamoreTwitch checking in - Real name James Twitchell Will be hunting in two counties in west central Indiana (Vigo and Parke). Probably, but we are pretty crazy about our hoops here in Indiana. lol With that said here is my hit list (trail camera photos have been altered to get a closer view): This picture was cropped from my Bushnell taken in early July This picture was also cropped from my Bushnell and is actually a 2010 photo - I know for a fact that this deer made it through gun season 2010 and have video footage of him from Feb. 2011. Still yet to turn up on camera,have reason to believe he's still in the area this year. Thanks! Oh yes, and I am cool with you being team captain - no problem with that at all. Some additional things I guess I forgot to mention (minor details) this will be my first year bow hunting and only my 3rd year ever hunting. I personally don't think that will be needed as an excuse, I'm fairly confident in my preparation as I've spent the last several months participating in 3D shoots and such - I think I should be good to go. Oh and I've got to get an Arthrogram tomorrow, possible torn labrum but it doesn't effect my ability to shoot. If I have to get surgery I plan on putting it off until December, that will give me 2 solid months to harvest a buck... I work in healthcare and I've taken time off in late October and early November (if needed) to put a buck on the board. My season starts October 1 here in Indiana. Looking forward to getting to know everyone. If you felt positive about my ability to contribute before, maybe I was able to lower expectations with this post. LOL!

Checking in as well. I'm off at school at the moment but ill be hunting every weekend starting the 15th. This will be my first bow season and this is what I've always wanted to do. More pumped for this season than any other too. Got some private land but more public land with probably even less pressure to put down some deer. Hunted since I was 12 with a rifle but I'm serious about this team winning! Really wish we had some deer like that in SC sycamore.
