I would shoot him if I were you schuls. I don't think you have to enter the first buck you shoot in the season because certain states allow for multiple bucks for archery season. Good luck with what ever you choose to do.

 

According to the contest rules, have to enter first buck you take and doesn't matter if second buck is larger. You can only score first buck and 50 points for a second deer. Dang.

 

Of course I can always exaggerate the score like a few people have this year. Funny seeing a smaller looking one posted at 139" and a much larger one following this guy's that scores in the 120s. What's the point of lying/cheating on here?
I may not have a ton of experience but that uneven 8 pointer he shot is not as big as his score he posted.

 

Well thats a tricky situation lol. I would say shoot what you like because its just a friendly competition in the end of the day.

 

Shoot what makes you happy. Or, keep the cull buck to yourself on the down low...

 

I can't keep my first archery on the downlow, I'll be too excited lol

 

So now the trick is to stop feeling like crap today! Thanks to the mandatory flu shot requirement of the Army, did the nasal flu mist on Monday and yesterday and today been feeling like poo. Usually only lasts 2-3 days though each year, so hopefully tomorrow morning I'm feeling fine! Temps are supposed to drop to upper 40s tonight but get into low 80s tomorrow afternoon.

 

Dam schuls hope your feelin better!!! I wont be around the computer to much this weekend, got the wake tonight, followed by my sons hockey game, then the funeral tomorrow and meeting with family tomorrow, and some massive tailgating on sunday, then goin to the patriots bears game....50 yard line 8 rows behind the patriots bench! (my wife is a ticket broker)

 

Well hopefully be heading out tomorrow morning. Don't know how it will be with the warm temps but can't get anything sitting at home. Also don't know how it will go seeing as I cut my finger pretty bad today at work and sure enough it's my trigger finger. Guess I'll haveta suck it up ha.

 

Out at the property in the cabin for the night, supposed to drop into 40s overnight then back up into high 70s during the day. I'll be out before sun comes up, then also hunting into the evening.

 

Got it done last day in Ohio boyz.

There is a deer across the creek top of hill, just saw it run off. Don't know if it's a doe or buck and I'm downwind of it. Maybe it will move down this way.

 

Ended up being the young 4 pointer which was on landowners no shoot list. Morning was a bust, maybe afternoon into evening will be better
