That's pretty bad you got your Illinois tags before I did, I live here ha ha. Sent from my SM-G900R4 using Tapatalk
pulled my card, nothin but does and a few spikes. all the acorns are killing me, the bucks don't have to move for food. Which might work out better for points for the team if i hold out and get a buck in Illinois!!! I passed on 3 130 class bucks there last year, holding out for 150. saw a mid 140's 2 times, but both times I couldnt get either one in close enough for a shot, one time he was chasing and wouldnt stop even when i yelled, the other one was 50+ yards out, it was the second to last day, i was tempted but didn't shoot.
Name: Joe from NYC Hunt: Private land in NJ about 15 peices. I own 40 acers in NY with very large bucks. I'll be in licking county ohio for week of Oct 20th. I have a really good idea for a team name tell me what you guys think....seal team sticks
Looks like we have 2 people form NYC. Those tags a pretty darn expensive Swamp! Hope you get a shot at a deer at least.

Ya they are pricey! I'm positive i will have at least a few encounters with some P & Y caliber bucks, My plan is the first day and a half is hold out for 140 or higher, after that though, if it's over camp minimum of 120, I'm probably shooting!!!!
Hey guys, checking in from Maryland. Two weeks until season opens! Not going to have the opportunity to hunt my private land back home in Tennessee this year but luckily there is a ton of public nearby. Maryland is definitely a sleeper state for big bucks!
That makes 4 vets so far.....I think the team name should have somthing to do with the "vet status"..... any ideas?
Hey folk, I'm Ken. I live in southern WI right on the WI/IL state line. I have a small plot I share here with 2 other guys and my have a awesome section in IL that rarely gets hunted. I also take a few trips to my parents place in central WI. This is my first year doing this so I'm excited. Been a member for a little while but don't post much just to build my count up. I do read a few times a day tho, specially when the season starts. Its my little addiction. I have a weeks vacation starting next week so will be getting some cameras out and knocking the dust of the arrow bag. Not really a vet but did 8 years in the Army National Guard in the Infantry. Never been out of the country tho.
