They should be sticking to the woods once the corn comes down. Hopefully that's soon for you.

    This is directly from Fitz:

I've updated the scorecard this AM. There are a number of entries that have not been entered because they are missing information. Please help me by making sure that your teammates are entering their kills correctly.

    What's needed:
Two photos that have the deer, hunter and bow in them
    Date & Time of kill
    Team number
Breakdown in scoring for all bucks over 50"

Hunters should update their original post, not make a new one. All updated entries will be added next week when the scorecard is updated again.

Also, Please make sure that I have your team's name and captain indicated in the Teams List thread. If not, please let me know what/who they are.

    Thanks!

    Fitz

A buddy was telling me tonight and tomorrow is something good for hunting with the way the moon lines up during the evening hours, this is according to a hunting times app. I guess all these things are a guess but any motivation to get out helps. I'll prob sit tomorrow evening. This weekend is the youth hunt here in WI and I will be in the stand with my 11 year old for his first hunt, gun tho. Cant wait. He is all jacked up about it.

Sounds like a great time this weekend Kenny!

I'm all set for this weekend. Hung the LW on a tree in the corner of my property in the oak grove near the pond. There is a straight tree for a climber but it's way to open and exposed....time to kill!!!

I'll be off the net starting tomorrow until probably Tuesday. Have a ton of stuff to do around the house to get it ready to be put up for rent before the move to Texas plus will be out on the property Saturday checking traps for pigs plus having to fill a few feeders for him. Good luck to anyone hunting this weekend!

Just went and checked cams today, will be looking through pics tonight. Hoping to see some antlers ha. Won't be goin out tomorrow morning but the rest of the weekend I'll be in the woods. Haven't been out since last Friday when shot the doe and it's killing me. Weather has been pretty good to be in the woods.

Found my first shed ever, was just across creek and top of the hill from where I put my trail cam today off a stand tucked down in there. Small one but the other cams have shown 5 different 8 pointers on the property and this creek leads right to one of the plots we've got pics from.[IMG]

Been out the past three days and haven't seen a single deer! I don't know where have all gone. Gotta just keep moving and looking.

Well, I'm proud of my little buddy. We sat all day Saturday except 2 hours and he didn't complain. We didn't see any deer.It was a strange day. We got out This morning and sat in my dads elevated blind. We got in about 6:15 and it got light enough about 7:00. Right at 7 he tells me he sees one. I couldn't find it. He got the rifle ready and aims and says I can only see its head and its butt. I still couldn't see the deer. Mind you its only about 35 yards away on a trail that goes inside the first row of trees on some real thick stuff. I told him if he gets a clear shot he can shoot. He says ok, I'm going to shoot now. Bam, I hear the deer take off through the thick stuff. He gets all upset, thinking he missed. I had to explain they don't just fall right dead some times. I get down and walk over to where he says he seen the deer and find blood everywhere. I forgot my phone in the cabin so we walk back to the cabin to get it and let the deer lay for a bit, trying to teach him patience. We get back out after about an hour and find the blood trail. He went about 50 yards and got his first deer, A small 5 pointer. He is so excited and so am I. I think he's hooked.
