Well this guy doesn't have a huge rack but guy who I've been helping do food plots today asked me to take this guy to cull him out because of odd genes. Nice body though and he has been hitting the same spot daily, over 400 pics of him in one week! [IMG]

Congrats to everyone who put some points up! Nicely done!!! Awesome video too!

I put a new stand out a few days ago...virtually untouched private property with a soy field spread! I can barely contain myself!! Bumped 3 groups of turkeys from the field, but while putting the stand up, all within about 30 minutes, 5 does and one very nice buck were wanting to come into the field! Suppose to rain here on Saturday, but Sunday Im hoping to be in the right place at the right time and send a "rage" through the cage!

Ha I pretty sure my buddy would think I'm losing it if I painted black squares all over his round bales. I can see that being effective though.

Just a heads up I was flipping through scorecard thread and noticed your doe only had one pic so if ya got another might throw it up too so it will count per the rules. Of course disregard if there is two already, I might if missed it ha. Just looking out.

First congrats and second communicate with Fitz. No one doubts your story but he has to okay any "not by the book" entries. Last year I did something very similar, ended up posting arrow photos, harvest photos and then head photos with bow. Just be honest and ask Fitz if there is anything you can do to make it count.

In the end though who cares, heck of a buck and a personal best!!!! 2014 is nothing but good to you so far!

I have already contacted him about it. Just in case I went ahead and took photos of me with my bow and the head. Hopefully he will say it's good to go. If not no hard feelings just a silly mistake. Thanks tymiller, I agree!

Honestly victory either way it's all good. Like Ty said this is all just for fun, and you still got a nice buck to show for this season

I forgot things changed for southern Alabama, they extended the end date for hunting due to our late rut here so it goes to Feb 10 now, but start date changed from Oct 15 to Oct 25 so I will maybe get 2 hunts in total before I move to Texas but chances are looking really good for a doe out on the property! Kind of hope I don't see that oddball buck because he won't be a good score for the team but would still be a trophy to me, he would be my first buck ever!

Well like usual plans often change. Originally I wasn't goin to change my cards in cams until season starts but since I'm goin out tomorrow to put that bale blind in place I'll probably go ahead and change cards as well. Think one cam may need fresh batteries anyway, so hopefully get some good pics and I'll haveta get some on here.

Yea I'm hoping, had a few more show up last time that hadn't seen yet. The couple big ones are being camera shy though.

Well just got back and gonna start looking over pics. Had couple cams that had alot of pics so here's hoping for some good shots.

Got blind set out, not sure if really love the spot yet but I'll check it out for awhile early and if need be I'll move it. Field it's sitting on has beans now and will have rye planted after harvest.

Ha yea I need to break out the target and chair and do that. Don't do that near enough actually so I limit myself to about 30 yards with a bow while seated. Don't hardly sit or shoot seated in treestand.
