Scorecard starting to heat up, lot of doe hitting the ground already! I'm going this Thurs/Fri to help with food plots on the land of a civilian I work with and he's going to let me hunt out there! Great bachelor group running around he's caught on cam plus several doe as well. I'm more than happy to get dirty and sweaty helping out on the property for the chance to hunt!

 

That's awesome to hear, definately worth it!!

 

Are we doing that group app thing or does anyone want to just swap cell phone #s so we can do our own "I received a text" stuff this season? LOL

 

I'm good with whatever. Never used one of the app things and really don't care who has my number. It gets passed around enough through work anyway ha.

I had a feeling Joe was going to start us off! I'm going to see if I can get Mike (civilian I'm helping Thurs/Fri on his private land) to email me some of the pics from his cams. There are two deer I think he wants to cull, and their names are kind of funny. Both have a pretty good basket and the base of the antler is thick, but the one he calls Retard has a small body (2 1/2 year old) and the other one is even smaller body but with same big basket that he calls Short Bus. The bachelor group of 4 all look to be good body and racks, and sounds like he wants to cull these two out due to their body size, we shall see. Several doe on the property as well! Hope I didn't offend anyone putting the names he picked for the two weird bucks, kinda fitting though lol

 

Didn't see anything mentioned but were you able go get the kill on video Joe? Just wondered knew in live from stand thread you said you forgot your strap for camera arm.

Yes i was able to rig the camera arm to get it on film!

Believe it or not it was a Rage HD.

 

Can't wait to see the video, congrats again!

 

I use the rage too swamp and that thing just leaves nasty holes.

 

Here's the video......LOL I hate pine branches. Don't forget to adjust the settings for HD. I need a better camera so bad
