One of the public WMAs here, usually pretty quiet during bow only. Last year at end of season I found a fresh rub line and droppings bit never saw the deer so going to check that area again.

Do you guy and gal process your own meat? I want to but I'm a few years away from having all my own processing equipment. Getting the land the way I want is first priority. I bring my kill to a deer processor, he charges $100 +10$ if I want sausage.

Until I get settled somewhere and can build a shed setup for doing my own processing, I take it somewhere. Hopefully I get one quick this year so I have time to get it to the processor before I move in November lol

I just take it somewhere. Have done myself before but end up taking some in to get sticks or sausage so figure they might as well do it all.

I do my own! I usually do some combination of steaks, ground, sausage (breakfast and other varieties) and even some jerky! $100?! That sounds really high to me but if they do a good job I suppose it's worth it. Beats beef and chicken!
