Last Saturday was my best day in the stand this year. The front coming in had the deer moving and despite the rain, I saw 9 deer. Had a shot at a huge doe, missed, but knew why and addressed that situation. In hindsight it would've sucked to have to haul her the 2+ miles out anyway.
I’ve been out quite a bit recently - have seen some nice bucks but nothing working in range yet - will be hoping to put a doe down this weekend and who knows maybe I’ll get lucky and put down a nice buck also !
Feel like sh!t, but on the back side of the front, temps will be about 40 in the morning. It's muzzle loader opener tomorrow too. So I'm only planning a half day sit...we'll see. Sounds like I'll also be starting a new project next week. PA, NYC and maybe NJ. A lot of work week travel...but hopefully able to still get out on Sat.
Hey guys, haven't checked in in a while. I've only been hunting weekends recently and haven't been seeing much. Possibly going to check cameras after work today, so fingers crossed that the big guys are up and moving! Since we've been putting out 2-3 shows per week, I haven't had much free time at all. But hopefully everyone is enjoying more content!

I didn't see squat yesterday. I've sat within 50yds of the same spot 4 times. 3 times nothing, once 9 deer. Crazy. So next Sat is rifle opener. I do need to get some meat in the freezer. So I'll be hanging up the bow, hopefully temporarily for this season... Since NC doesn't allow hunting on public land on Sunday, I'm binge watching some of the hunting vids on Youtube by Argali. Man I miss hunting out west.
Also, if anyone questions the effectiveness of a Rage, she ran 15 yards and piled up. Those things are deadly.

Congratulations on your doe! I hope some my buck still survive after shotgun come up first 3 weeks of December. I got second buck tag on December 19. I may get out to shoot couple hot does next week to save their urina-te for late season. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
