I like long walks on the beach and having sweet nothings whispered into my ear. Lol, right now I plan on hitting some private land that I have access to, 50 acres, and doing public land as well. Really finalizing my gear and getting everything prepared before the season kicks off. Hopefully I can free my schedule up and really hit it hard this year, work has been crazy.
Oh Nice! I'm in Foster on the CT state line. (still only 45 minutes away) I hunt Public land in CT. you hunt MA?
The CT laws suck. (not as bad as MA though) archery on public land is sep15th-nov-15, no sunday hunting. The spot i hunt has a lot of sentimental value to me, so I put up with seeing barely any deer. Hardly any pressure during archery season, but it's big hardwoods. Your a needle in a haystack. RI has the best laws, but I'm not a fan of the public land in RI. Too crowded.
So, a couple weeks ago I won this prize... For the life of me, I can't figure out how to attach it to my bow. Guess I'll have to buy another toy.
I did a walk today in the woods. Setup the new cell cam, reset up the other cell cam, and did some scouting. Found some decent deer beds! 2 weeks! Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Man I’m beyond excited for the season! Did some teal hunting this past weekend and it got the blood flowing even more for hunting seasons . Here in a week or two I’ll get out and check my cams - some have been soaking since July and others have been since early August - hoping to have some bruisers on there when I pull the cards . And since we are real serious about winning this year I even picked up a doe tag ( only 200 for my county so had to get it right at midnight when they released lol. I usually shoot my does during shotgun season .
