Got another heat wave coming this week. I am so done with summer, it's my least favorite season. I hate to sweat.
It was in the 90s in NC as I was washing and prepping gear for CO and saw the initial forecasts with lows in the 20s already; 50s/60s as the highs...and that's at Leadville (10.5k' elevation) and I expect to be at higher altitudes. Brrrrr. It'll be here before you know it.
N. Illinois weather has been a little bipolar lately. Highs in the mid-low 70's last week. Didn't hit 70 on Friday, and then from sat-tuesday in the mid-high 80's. Dropping back down to a high of 69 on wednesday and back up to mid 80's on Friday. Luckily we've had a decent amount of rain the past couple weeks. My clover is starting to take off! Good start. Did you check your PH? The moss usually likes an acidic soil, but I thought (correct me if I'm wrong) clover liked neutral ph.
It's possible that it might be a little acidic. But this plot has been untouched since we planted a mix 2 years ago. It gets a good amount of sun, and sometimes it gets puddles if there's enough rain. But where I live, we've got great soil just about everywhere. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
My brassica/oat plots are looking good. This is 3 weeks. Haven't seen it in person just random blank pics from cell cams Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
I went out for my fatboy walk/run a little while ago. brutal in this heat and humidity. Came back and ate a slice of cheesecake.
Exactly! I'm just building up my stamina for the season. I figure if god wanted me to be in great physical condition, he would have given me the motivation for it...LOL!!!
Just a heads up, I'm a huge fan of The Office, so you'll be seeing a lot of gifs from that show! Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
When my wife and I can't agree on what to watch we just start watching the entire series again. Once we start we watch it all the way through to the end.
