Hey Jonathan, I travel through Ogle County often. A friend of mine lives in Savanna and I take 39 north to 64 west into Savanna. I usually stop in Oregon and grab a bite before heading out. Oh and you gotta watch your speed through Lanark! I live in Will County but I'm sure I'll be hunting in Carroll and JoDaviess counties this year at some point, my friend has access to a few spots. I also hunt here around Will and have property down in Hardin County (way south east) where I do my gun hunting but I'll also do some bow hunting there as well. Good luck!

John, I live in West Chicago by St. Charles but have always hunted in Ogle County. I hunted Lowden Miller & Castle Rock for several years and 3yrs ago i landed a 400ac farm (in ogle) that belongs to one of my customers that lives in Wheaton. Here's a pic a guy that hunts the farm with me. Nice buck but there are much BIGGER bucks in the area.
I checked one of my cameras this weekend. Got this one and a couple smaller ones. The picture is a little blurry but you can see he is decent looking.
Nice pictures fellas. My name is Rob and I mostly hunt private land in NE Ohio. This year presents some major challenges with my main property being logged into next year. I may try some public land this year for the first time in a long time. Gonna try to find a way to get it done regardless. Season opener is on September 25th.
Thanks, ive been chasin him for the past 3 yrs now. He is a 7 yr old deer this year. What really amazes me about this deer is that his front left leg is injured and its never affected his antler growth, except he hasnt grown much since 2008. 2008: 2009:
