On a bench at the near top of a mountain. It is so foggy and rainy that my nikon won't range anything. Sitting till about 1130 hope it clears out.[IMG]

Well guys, I had a great weekend in Kentucky but I didn't get it done with my bow. I shot this nice 11 point with my muzzleloader at 6:05 pm yesterday. I'm a little surprised at a couple of things. It's mid-October, but he showed all the signs of full rut. He stunk to high heaven, his stomach was empty and I killed him chasing a doe. I'm not complaining, though.

Well opening day this morning had deer all around me walking into stand and when I got into stand. As soon as shooting light appeared gone. At about 7:45 spot a nice buck coming off field tall skinny 8 point. Passed on him knowing there are 2 monsters hanging around there. Good anticipation for afternoon hunt but need a nap now went to bed Kate and was up at 3. Ya who can sleep the night before opening day

I ended up killing a nice 9pt yesterday afternoon, 4:10 to be exact. He'll score around 135" probably due to his mass.
I'll post up a pic when I get off work later.

BTW, I think I might have more than 1 pic this time...IDK. lol

Congratulations!! That's awesome! Can't wait to see the pic.

I botched my chance at a big 8 point Friday afternoon. I posted the story in the bowhunting forum. It sucks because it's the first deer I've ever hit that I couldn't find.
