Well, looks like our team has died

I'm still kicking. Pretty frustrated, but still at it. I will not be out until after Thanksgiving and in Illinois. I sat all day Friday and had a doe hauling out of the woods with a buck in tow. All was looking good until that damn white dog came chasing and barking at them then went barking through the woods. This is a recurring thing and I'm debating what to do with this dog. This dog has run through my turkey decoys and constantly is running through while I've been hunting, no collar and I have no clue who owns it. I am not one to contemplate shooting someone's pet, but this is getting frustrating.
Things can change in a min, so hopefully, I can drop something soon.

 

I'm here as well. If anybody needs help with pics you can email them to me and we'll get them on here. Just send me a DM. I hunted all last week. Saw more deer then I can remember at my farm but just couldn't get on a shooter. Rifle season is on currently so I'll be out with the rifle this weekend. Good Luck guys!

Hey guys,
Just checking in. Ive been crazy busy with work and trying to hunt. I was fortunate enough to get on a big buck friday night and got him killed. It was a great hunt. Going to get the deer added to the score card tonight. Hope everyones season is going good. Good luck and stay safe.

 

I'm back from vacation, going to sneak out for a few hours tomorrow morning then off to Illinois Friday/Saturday. Been super busy lately, but hopefully, this season will change soon. I am so ready to get into the stand again.

 

I have been in Orlando the last week with my wife and kids, heading home tomorrow, will be able to hunt one last day Saturday then I will be done for the year.

 

I'm not going to lie, I'm burned out. This season sucks, I've not seen as much as I usually do. Most years I'll at least see a spike or some young bucks, but nothing. I was in Illinois all weekend and not a dang thing. Ugh. Maybe this week of work will get my motivation back.

 

I killed two so far but with the rifle, saving my last tag for a buck with a bow.

Been a long season here. Still at it, but havnt killed anything yet. Pretty burned out at the moment, I’ve started feeding recently even though I didn’t want to (deer just havnt been moving in daylight in my plots)

My #1 that I was hunting for the last 4 seasons got hit by a car. Huge bummer for me. I made an episode with the entire story just havnt uploaded it to YouTube yet.

Man, that sucks Caleb!

 

Sucks greatly, but I’ll have he mount for a conversation piece for the rest of my life.

I’m still hunting, keeping the deer fed and waiting for late bow season. I’ll be able to contribute 50 points almost guaranteed. I just don’t have any mature bucks that I’d shoot on camera right now, we lost 3 of them this year.
