Tree time for me starting tomorrow.
Took alot of restraint staying out of my stands the last two weeks but they will all be fresh for the chase phase.
Was cleaning my cabin on Tues. And from just peeking out the windows I bet I seen 25-30 deer within 100 yards including 6 bucks. GO TIME!!!!

I'm going out this afternoon, supposed to rain, hopefully, it's light. I have no clue what stand to hunt in though. I have three set up, all three are close to a cut bean field. I'm at a loss at where to sit.

    Where the deer are lol!
Actually, now is the time to be off the field edges and a bit into cover( for bucks).
They are cruising the inside crossing trails leading into the fields .
    Just my .02 cents worth

Big cold front here in NW MO. Windy as hell. Had two 3.5 yr bucks strolling by at 1030 this morning. Had to keep my head on a swivel cause I couldn't hear anything with the heavy winds. Lots of sightings this morning. Plan to head out this afternoon and tomorrow morning. Good luck team!

First sit and what a Blast!!
In at 3:00 and had a spike in at 4 working a scrape. Than the flood gates opened!!
Didn't kill but had a young 4+4 under me for 1/2 hour eating thorn apples. He's a 120 is buck that has great potential.
Than I rattled in another 4 x4 that came STORMING in.
    120ish size.
5bucks within 25 yards and maybe 15 does. Great evening in the tree!

    Good luck Simon.

Another great sit. Seen. About 12-15 does n fawns and 5 bucks. The biggest was a 115ish and came by at 12 yards.
It was windy, gloomy and a spit of rain but just as he walked by, the sun broke through in ONE spot and that's where he stopped.
He was beautiful with that small beam shining on him.
Still no birthday buck for me:bigcry:

Weird sit tonight. Seen piles of does but not a single buck?
    Froze my ass off!!
Clothes were wet from the snow we had and I thought I could tough it out. I did but am chilled to the Bone!
Got the wood stove crancked up and lying in my cabin bed.
I think now that big- boy just showed up, he's suppressing the young bucks.

Another good episode. Kudos to you for congratulateing another Hunter that shot the buck you wanted. That shows your character:rock:

Opening of gun season here. 2" of fresh snow and light winds. Gonna hate to put on orange but law says I have to.
Gonna be a beautiful morning in a tree.

Up and at it, rained all night but clearing up this morning. 65 degrees and everything is wet. I’m sitting as long as my knees and back can handle it today, hopefully make it to 2pm. Starting to feel like I have no clue what these bucks are doing lately, fingers crossed.
