I'm hunting Middle-TN, have a few cameras out getting some good bucks. I'm hoping the weather stays on the path to be cool September 23. I love getting out on opening day, but the heat has been terrible over the past few seasons. Supposed to get back to southern Illinois again this year, last year was a bust, but I did some see the biggest deer ever there, not on the stand though. Setup: Mathews Heli-m Axis 5mm 300 28" HHA Sigle Pin Not sure whether to use Shwackers or change to the Muzzy Trocar yet.

Turkish checking in from the great state of MN. I hunt public land here, season opens mid September and I spend most of my early season taking my two young kids out with me. I don't get serious until the end of October. We can shoot a doe and a buck in the zone I hunt in, so hoping to put some early points on the board!
