Prayers for both of your families. Maybe a little backstrap could help!♂️ Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
This is weird. Have these pics from last night. Looks like the buck sees whatever it is flying around.
I messed with @Gabilgerat logo trying to size it right so it would fit but couldnt get it to fit where i could read it. I made another one its on my profile. If anyone else wants to make one go ahead and we can pick. Logos and graphics definitely arent my strong suit.
Anybody have set plans or winging it or what? I have 205 private acres next to my house i hunt along with my families 100 acre farm in southern illinois. Besides that i do hunt a ton of public as well. I never seem to make concrete plans because over the years ive learned to let conditions and life dictate my flow. Much easier that way. Every time i plan something it seems like murphy’s law sets in.
Ill hunt here at home on our farm and my uncles place down the road. Also have 12,000 public acres that border our ground. Ill be in Illinois November 5-11. If I dont kill that week Ill go back out for late season when we get a cold snap. I spent this evening getting some tractor therapy. Got all the old plots cut down super close. Going to disc in the morning then sow some winter wheat and brassicas. Right at 4 acres worth of wheat and about 1.5 total acres of brassicas. Next spring Ill plant beans in all these fields. They are usually in clover but its time for something else. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Nice man! That 100 acres of family farm we have is bordered by 27,000 acres of Shawnee national forest as well. I love it down there. Id rather hun public shawnee than other places i know that have bigger deer. Truly Gods country.
I'll be mostly hunting on my grandpa's 40 acres parcel. There is a lot of public that is not far from my house that I use to hunt when I was younger. There is also some properties in mfl programs that are in some good areas that I may try some hang and hunts in. I bought a saddle this last winter and will try it out as my mobile set up.
Once i went saddle i never looked back. Still hunt a few permanent stands when im super short on time but i dont really like to anymore
