Only seen 2 does that busted me. But I did get a nice picture of a buck that's on my property. He's off to the right of the photo. No way to really tell how big he is.
Well I loosed my first arrow of the year...with the struggle stick. I came up short as I missed wide. Got some footage of the fella though. This guy had me shook, I got too excited and at 20 yards that's usually a chip shot when I'm shooting a target...but there's a difference between a target and a live critter.
That’s tuff hopefully you’ll get another chance at him Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I’m hoping to get out tomorrow after work for opening day we just got power back on today but my parents still don’t have any so I’m going to check on them first and make sure they don’t need anything before I go Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Go time here in Illinois Tomorrow! Unfortunately, i have nothing i want to move on at this point yet. Maybe the temp drop tonight will help. Good Luck Guys!
I’m setup for the evening not exactly where I wanted to go but what can you do the guy that owns the property is a small logger and is cut a few of his big pines right where I wanted to go this evening but I’ll try that different day Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I went and sat tonight as well and got skunked....well I saw a deer but couldn't tell what it was then as I was getting down, which I thought I did an excellent job being quiet, I got blown at.
I saw one last night but not close enough for a shot hopefully I’ll be back out Friday Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I used to log for a living so I know deer are really curious and will definitely be all over the place especially once the equipment shuts down but I just didn’t want to take a chance and be in their way last night we have a lot of new trees down because of the storm Friday and wasn’t sure exactly where they was at just heard the skidder dragging wood so I’ll give it a try next time by the way I sure do miss that sound of a saw head cutting trees Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
This 10 came back around last night. He spends time between the state land, my inlaws and a neighboring property. I'm pretty sure he mostly beds on the state land and so Friday I'm hoping to make a move on him
Oh man. Its almost time to hunt here in PA for me. Morning, first-day hunt got bumped as I have to be a dad for a few hours and take my 13yr old to baseball. Come evening, I hope to be in a tree on nice ground spot targeting doe.
Good to everyone out this weekend I’m not sure when I’ll be back out. My father is having surgery to remove some cancer from his colon this morning. Tomorrow my daughter has a travel softball tournament. If everything goes good today I may try to get out Sunday evening but if not then one day after work next week maybe.
