    Nice Avatar!

Took a walk into the woods today. Took two stands and 3 more cameras. Getting excited. Have another month to wait and keep practicing.

Temps dropping. Going to use the 20 degree drop to get out on an island and scout a bit tomorrow.

This fella showed up the other day. He was actually running through and I figured he got spooked and sure enough about 30 mins later two guys walked through and must have been cutting some some stuff down as they had a machete and some other items. But the bucks on the public typically make their way to my inlaws private land once the pressure starts. 1000004151.jpg 1000004152.jpg 1000004152.jpg

Made it up to the farm yesterday. Changed the batteries in my cameras, set up a few mock scrapes and trimmed shooting lanes on a few stands. We planted thousands of trees 15 years ago from saplings, 40 acres of warm season grasses and forbs and its nice to see how far its came from a cattle pasture. 20240901_131336.jpg

Apologies fellas, I barely log in anymore with work and such and was surprised I even remembered to log in to sign up.

Ty here, for those that don't know me - been around the forum forever to the point now I rarely am...but Northern Indiana, on a few solid deer and typically always good for 50 points with a chance at a 130+ buck as well....we shall see.

Awesome so we are all checked in now. Anybody got any other suggestions for avatars, team names and captain?

I know brett had suggested team crystal lake and a pretty awesome avatar.

I think just Crystal Lake....putting team in front is redundant.

I usually toss out a bunch of native american inspired names or such but I'm all tapped out with time and effort placed elsewhere LOL

I'm good with Crystal Lake. Pretty creative for landing on lucky number 13. Whats your guys thoughts on using a group chat on group me or whats app? It really brought my last years team together throughout the season.

I'll be honest, you'll have to educate me on those I've honestly never heard of them.

Whats app, text, all work for me. I enjoyed it a couple of years ago when I was on a team that did it. I'll be onboard with whatever direction the team heads in.
