Team 13 - Crystal Lake

Well fellas, I figured I'd share the stuff this guy broke off.

After taking my time and re-scoring he measured at 69 0/8. Super blessed for this deer harvest and am, without one regret, Wondering what he looked like before breaking all the stuff off.

I've sat a couple times since last post, no shots fired. Still working on it and don't plan on stopping till the final bell tolls on our seasons.

Finally have a target buck to go after was an 11 pt typical last year and has grown quite a bit

Cold weather on the horizon. I may be down to 4 or 5 hunts left this season. Need to get real lucky.

Will likely get out one more time with bow....then I may be switching to late season firearms on my reduction property just for a bit of meat in freezer...

I was out with the musket the other evening. Saw 6, nothing close. I will try to make it out a couple more times before the season is over with the Xbow. Still trying for those 50 points and meat in the freezer! Keep after it if you are still excited.

 

Going to get real cold. Down to a few more chances at a buck.
